PETITION TO THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF ALBERTA

Urgent Care for North Edmonton

Urgent care services are for people who have unexpected but non-life-threatening health concerns that usually require same-day treatment. Some examples include broken bones, sprains, lacerations, asthma, dehydration, pain and infections.

Why this matters:

North Edmonton has no urgent care centre, forcing residents to overcrowded emergency rooms or long travel times. This petition calls on the Province of Alberta to establish a dedicated Urgent Care Centre north of Yellowhead Trail to improve access, reduce ER strain, and deliver timely care for families, seniors, and workers.
